Hotoil Fuel Conversion Project: Transition from Diesel B7 to B10 at Phra Pradaeng Factory
5 April 2023 | The Phra Pradaeng plant has undertaken a significant initiative involving the conversion of Hotoil fuel, shifting from diesel B7 to B10. This strategic change aims to achieve two primary objectives: the reduction of production costs and the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions. Through the implementation of this project, the factory anticipates a considerable reduction in its carbon footprint. By effecting this transition between September 1, 2020, and December 31, 2022, the factory is poised to achieve a noteworthy reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. The estimated decrease amounts to an impressive 195,907 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent. This project reflects the factory’s commitment to environmental sustainability and aligns with its goals of operational efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
