- Roles of Cool Roads and Reflective Asphalt Surfaces: These innovations reduce heat absorption, mitigate urban heat island effects, and enhance road structure durability.
The seminar welcomed 22 engineers from nine nations, including ASEAN and BIMSTEC member countries. It was a pivotal opportunity for knowledge exchange and experience sharing to achieve sustainable and efficient highway asset management. This training course was part of an international collaboration aimed at promoting sustainable highway asset management through the dissemination and transfer of expertise from relevant specialists. The initiative is expected to contribute significantly to developing sustainable infrastructure and transportation systems in the future.
